There is a new member in the Sharp Galapagos family — the Galapagos A01SH that has just been unveiled. So we do have a fairly clear picture of the newest member of the Android tablet both inside out though the tablet will initially be seen playing around within the Japanese shores. The Galapagos A01SH is yet to make its formal stop-over at the FCC and hence, its around the later half of the year that the new Galapagos can be seen making its international foray.
Meanwhile, the Galapagos A01SH sports a 7 inch display having a slightly less than impressive 1,024 x 600 pixel resolution. On-board will be Android 3.2 along with the familiar 1 GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 chipset and a gig of RAM. A 5 megapixel webcam together with auto focus and LED comes integrated along the back of the tablet while a 2 megapixel unit at the front will allow for video chatting and self portraits. Internal storage amounts to 8 GB while battery life is to the tune of 7.5 hours.
Specific launch dates and pricing details of the Galapagos A01SH for Japan will be made available at a later date.

With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
