We just reported today that the T-Mobile has put up the LG G-Slate sign-up page and they are not stopping there! It looks like the Dell Streak 7, will be the first 4G Tablet that T-Mobile will be officially launching this year, and we should see it live and online February 2nd 2011.
Last year Dell entered the tablet computer market with the Dell Streak 5, which was a cross between a smartphone and a tablet, where as the Dell Streak 7 is reveling in full sized tablet glory.
How is the Streak 7 different? Well its running Google Android 2.2 right out of the box and has a 7 inch capacitive touch screen with a resolution of 800×480 pixels. It features a NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual core processor and will have 16 GB of internal memory. Fancy taking pictures? This unit has a rear 5 MP camera and a front facing 1.3 MP to do video chat. The Dell Streak 7 will connect up to the internet via WI FI and will connect to T-Mobile’s HSPA+ network for mobile broadband speeds up to 21Mbps! Finally, if you are the type of person who drops your tablet lots, or throws it across the room in an Angry Birds inducing rage, it features Gorilla Glass screen technology.
T-Mobile also has plans to drop the Samsung Galaxy Tab in its current form at the end of January paving the way for an upgraded 4G version.
