If you have been too excited about the new tablet Toshiba which is known to be aiming to be the latest entrant to the niche slim tablet segment, well Toshiba sure is also feeling the same. That might also be the reason for them to name the tablet as Excite though Toshiba hasn’t come out with anything concrete on this.
All of this stems from a recent filing at the US Patent and Trademark Office by the Toshiba America Information Systems where the product has been categorized as “Tablet Computers.” That’s not all for Toshiba has also gone for a few domain name registrations all of which have the term ‘Excite’ in them. The domain names are excitetablet.com, excitetablet.net, toshibaexcite.com, toshibaexcite.net, and thetoshibaexcite.com.
So that’s a lot of excites that Toshiba has brought under control and it will be interesting to see if the Galaxy Tab 10.1 baiter manages to make things just as exciting at the IFA as it is named. Keep watching to find out how things turn up at Berlin.
