Popular social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter have emerged as the preferred medium of making announcements. We have seen Asus using Facebook to let the world know (though perhaps tacitly) they are rolling out the Android 4.0 ICS update for its Transformer and Transformer Prime users. This time, a Twitter update is letting us know Asus will be coming up with the much awaited bootloader unlock tool for Transformer Prime in February. While no specific dates have been mentioned, the good thing is that February is just round the corner. Asus had released the Wi-Fi only Transformer Prime with a locked bootloader which had irked many as this prevented them from installing custom firmware. More so when the first gen Transformer had no such issues. Now that the unlock tool is on its way, this should soothe many a frayed nerve.
With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
