The latest kid on the tablet PC block is also a surprise entrant. Surprise for the simple reason that the company has never been into computer manufacturing, let alone tablet devices. The company is Vizio and the only stuff they have to their credit is televisions and monitors. However, Vizio is not the first company to venture into the hotly contested tablet segment without any prior experience in the field of computers.
The company has gone on to showcase a tablet device in a recent Rose Bowl commercial. Also, it is the tablet’s video playing capabilities or rather entertainment credentials that are being highlighted. While it’s not known which of the two most popular tablet segments – the 7 inch or the 10 inch category – the new Vizio will be fitting into, the presence of three buttons at the bottom bezel of the tablet has let to speculations flying around that Android is running the show, though Windows too can’t be ruled out completely.
Also, these are no other details of the tablet that have been revealed, though everything will be clear as broad daylight in just a few day’s time when the much awaited CES gets underway.
Till then, it will be only a guessing game and the video will help in that.

With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
