Fujitsu has just unveiled the Quaderno Gen 3 Color. The A5 Fujitsu Quaderno COLOR 10.3 and the A4 Fujitsu Quaderno COLOR 13.3 use Kaleido 3 e-paper screens. These two models are primarily for taking notes, editing PDF files, and freehand drawing. They should be available to purchase in one or two months.
Both models have eight colors when drawing, which is the industry average. When drawing freely, these colors can highlight documents, sign files, or pick from a palette. There are two new functions, “memorization mode (for memorization learning)” and “page turning function (for performance).”
Many people use the Quaderno to store sheet music. Connecting it to a foot pedal lets you turn the pages without taking your hands off the instrument you are playing. The Quaderno solves the problems of paper sheet music, which is heavy and bulky and makes it difficult to turn the pages while playing.
