Huion, counted among the pioneers in the field of digital drawing devices, has announced the launch of two new devices – Kamvas Slate 11 and Kamvas Slate 13. Both can be considered as derivatives of the Kamvas Slate 10. Further, much like its predecessors, the new Kamvas Slate 11 and Kamvas Slate 13 are aimed at artists and other creative professionals. That said, both tablets are great performers when it comes to audio and video content as well.

Of the two, the Kamvas Slate 11 comes with a 10.95-inch display having an FHD+ 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution. The Kamvas Slate 13, on the other hand, comes with a 12.7-inch display having a 4:3 aspect ratio and QHD or 2176 x 1600 pixels resolution. Both tablets have a 90 Hz refresh rate.

The full laminated display has a color gamut of 99% sRGB. The display also offers markedly reduced glare thanks to the nano-etching process it has been subjected to. This gives the display to have a paper-like quality that makes it extremely eye-friendly. The tablet is designed to have the least strain on your eyes, even after prolonged usage.

Both tablets are accompanied by the H-Pencil, which offers 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity and 60 degrees of tilt recognition. The pen offers a very natural writing feel. The built-in key lets users switch between different functionalities such as undo, eraser, brush, palette, and such easily. The pen boasts a metallic build and is comfortable to hold and operate.

Under the hood, both the Kamvas 11 and Kamvas 13 feature an octa-core MediaTek Helio G99 processor that is coupled with 8 GB of RAM. Regarding storage, the Kamvas 11 and 13 have 128 GB and 256 GB of it, respectively, both being expandable to up to 1 TB. Both tablet models run Android 14 and come pre-loaded with various apps to get started with the device right away.

“The Kamvas Slate series shows Huion’s effort to make high-quality mid-range Android tablets for our users. They can handle productivity tasks and mobile creativity or entertainment” said Simon, Product Director at Huion.

As for the price, the Kamvas 11 will cost you US$348 while the larger Kamvas 13 will set you back US$523.

With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
