Barnes and Noble might have a new six inch e-reader waiting in the wings, since they seem to be getting rid of all of their current stock of the Nook Glowlight 3 and their accessories. The Nook was recently discounted by 20% and is available for $95. The entire line of Nook Glowlight 3 cases have been slashed by 65% and you can pick one up for a paltry $9.99, whereas the normal price ranges from $19.99 to $26.99.
The Nook Glowlight 3 came out in 2017 and the Nook Glowlight Plus 7.8 came out a few months ago. This is the first time ever that B&N has two different e-readers they are selling at the same time. They can both be purchased online and in over 650 retail stores in the United States.
It remains to be seen if Barnes and Noble plans on discontinuing the Nook Glowlight 3 completely, in addition to the all of their accessories. I think it is likely we might see a new six inch e-reader sometime in the next month or two.
