Barnes and Noble will be providing a new business strategy and long-term outlook on June 23rd. The nations largest bookseller wants to appease shareholders and inform the general public on what their goals are for the next few years.
In the past few months Barnes and Noble has been changing their Nook business model. They closed down their Nook Video, Nook App Store and shuttered their digital bookstore in the United Kingdom. Industry experts are musing what else might be on the chopping block, or if B&N will abandon hardware and e-books altogether.
The company also announced that it will report fourth quarter and 2016 fiscal year-end earnings results prior to the investor conference on Wednesday, June 22, after the market closes.
