Barnes and Noble unveiled a new program last year called Signed Editions. They got hundreds of bestselling authors to autograph their books and these titles were distributed evenly across all the B&N bookstores all over the US. This year, Barnes and Noble is bringing the program back with new authors and close to 500,000 books will have you favorite authors signature.
There are a number of notable authors that are participating in the autographing sessions this year. Ree Drummond, Diana Gabaldon, Mindy Kaling, Khloe Kardashian, David McCullough, Tyler Oakley, Ransom Riggs, Rick Riordan, Brandon Stanton and many more.
Some lucky customers will discover special extras while shopping for signed editions. New Zealand illustrator Kristina Webb spent over an hour creating an intricate drawing inside one signed copy of Color Me Creative. Children’s author Nancy Tillman personalized every 100th copy of her book On the Night You Were Born with affirmations and illustrations. Bestselling crime author Lorenzo Carcaterra (The Wolf) wrote a special note in a dozen of the thousands of books he signed for customers to find at Barnes & Noble.
The Signed Editions will be featured on a special front-of-store display when customers walk through the doors of their local Barnes & Noble on Black Friday. There is no definitive pricing available, but last year Barnes and Noble did not charge extra for the autographs.
