Random House is starting a new imprint entitled Random Romance to launch a series of digital first ebooks. The exclusive focus will be the Australian market and will feature a myriad of authors that are homegrown.
Random Romance is all set to unleash its first five titles in February of 2013. The books will comprise of two erotic novellas and a scintillating outback romance, followed by another five throughout the year. All of these books will have a large promotional campaign in Australia and will really promote the fact these are fellow countrymen.
Random House Australia’s Fiction Publisher Beverley Cousins said, “The ethos behind the list is simple; to publish great romantic titles,” Cousins said. “We won’t have rules or guidelines on what the books should contain or how they should be structured. If they are fresh, engaging, fun, page-turning—and of course indulgently romantic—then we want them.”
