Amazon has just pushed out a new firmware update for the Kindle Basic, Kindle Paperwhite, Kindle Voyage and the Kindle Oasis. This new upgrade brings back the reading dots that were removed awhile ago and your device will finally be able to remember WIFI passwords.
Here is all of the new updates that are available, if Amazon has not automatically pushed the 5.8.1 update to your Kindle yet, you can visit their download page and grab it yourself.

- Save Wi-Fi Passwords to Your Amazon Account: Save your Wi-Fi passwords to your Amazon account for future convenience. We can configure your compatible devices so that you won’t need to reenter your Wi-Fi passwords on each device.
