Amazon reduced the price on their Kindle DX e-Reader by $100 bringing the price down to a solid $259 for the 9.7 inch e-reader. If you want to partake on the deal it expires November 28th 2011.
The Kindle DX is a solid reader for the lower price but suffers from a lack of firmware updates. The six inch e-reader class continues to garner new features every month but the DX has not been updated in over six months. Still, 9 inch e-readers tend to be better for technical documentation, PDF Files or newspapers.
