Christmas is a few weeks away and Boxing day soon thereafter. There are many deals and discounts to be had if you are looking for a new e-reader. This list will be constantly updated until the end of the year, so make sure you check back often.
Walmart – The Kobo Clara HD is on sale, this is the latest gen e-reader that came out earlier in the year. The regular price is $129, but it is available for $99 and includes free shipping. They have also discounted the Kobo Forma by $10, but it doesn’t say it is a deal, maybe it is a permanent price drop.
Woot – There are currently over 8 different Kindle models available. Most are refurbished and are older models. You can get the Kindle Keyboard for $23, Kindle Touch for $21 or the 1st generation Kindle Oasis for $159. The Woot tablet page is where all of the e-readers are listed, so check back often for new Kindle models.
Amazon – The Kindle Paperwhite 3 3G version is on sale. The regular price is $189, but is available for $134. The latest generation Kindle Paperwhite 4 is also discounted in most of Europe, including Amazon UK. You can buy it for around £99.99, which is a savings of £20.00.
Amazon has discounted the latest generation Paperwhite 4 in the United States. The regular price is $129.99 and it on sale for $99, which is a savings of $30. The 32GB version is also available for $119.99. This is the first time that Amazon has offered a great deal on the Kindle, since it was released in October.
Kobo – The Kobo Clara HD is available on the Canadian version of their website for $119, the regular price is $139. The Kobo Aura 2 price has not changed, but the company is including a free sleep cover until December 24th. You can buy the e-reader and cover for $129.99. Meanwhile in the United States Audiobooks are 30% off, using the promo code LISTEN30 at checkout. The Kobo H2O Edition 2 is on sale for $159 and the regular price is $179. The Kobo Clara HD is available for $109, regular price is $129.
Barnes and Noble – The bookseller has discounted over 100 titles by 50% until Christmas. This includes hardcovers, paperbacks, autographed books and ebooks. The new Nook Tablet 7 just just came out this week and although it is not on sale, it costs a paltry $49.
Remarkable – The company has just released a number of new colorful cases. Their flagship writing tablet has sold over 50,000 units since it was released and is on sale for $100 off.
Sony – There is a promo running for Sony Digital Paper! Now through December 22nd, when you purchase either model (10-inch DPT-CP1 or 13-inch DPT-RP1) of Sony Digital Paper you will get a free cover!
Audible – Audible almost Site Wide sale has started. Audiobooks are up to 70% off. 70% from full book price, not member price.
Google – Books: Deals for the bookworm will be available for up to 80% off of both ebooks and audiobooks for top sellers. For those who love to listen, audiobooks titles include Library of Souls by Ransom Riggs, How to Change Your Mind by Michael Pollan and Educated: A Memoir by Tara Westover
