The Kobo Aura was one of the best e-readers the company has ever produced when it originally came out in 2013. It has been sold out on the main Kobo website for most of 2015 and it looks very likely this device has been discontinued.
When I first reviewed the Kobo Aura I said “The one thing that blew me away with this e-reader is how the screen is flush with the bezel. Most e-readers on the market have a sunken screen and utilizes Neonode IR. This model has 5 points of multi-touch and is a pure joy to use. If you want to raise or decrease the luminosity you can swipe your two fingers along the e-paper display.”
Kobo will probably not manufacture anymore of these of the Aura e-readers, but you can still find them in the retail environment. Chapters/Indigo still has them in stock, where you can buy it in the store or online. Many bookstores in Europe, Mexico, South America and Japan also have them.
