Onyx has been slowly updating their entire line of e-notes and e-readers. The Note Pro and Nova Pro were the first two and many more will be updated in the ensuing weeks. You will be able to import images into your notes and protect the docs or your entire device with a password.
There are plenty of note taking changes, aside from importing images. The screen will auto refresh if you take the stylus off of the screen, this will help eliminate any ghosting or vestiges of things you have previously erased. The toolbars have also changed, they are more condensed now and various other UI elements on the screen have been moved.
Good e-Reader has a preview video of all of the latest enhancements. This will give you a sense on what each one of the major changes does and how it influence your workflow.
