Earlier in the week, Overdrive announced that its app was available for download in the Barnes and Noble app store. Today the company has also assured us that its app is now ready to be downloaded from the Amazon Android Market, too!
Overdrive is the premier company that most libraries deal with to facilitate the digital lending process. In the past, if you wanted this app on your Kindle Fire or Kindle Fire HD, you had to load it in yourself. Now that the Overdrive Media Console is available as a free download, users can borrow easily ebooks and audiobooks.
The official Overdrive app has undergone a few changes to appeal to library lovers. The audiobook player has been completely redesigned. You can also share what you’re reading on Goodreads (as well as Facebook, Twitter, and via email). Check it out today via the Amazon App Store.
