The new Dasung Paperlike Pro features features two different configurations, one has E Ink Carta and the other one has Pearl. They both have a resolution of 1600×1200 and the PPI is around 250. Dasung has just posted a new video that has the e-paper display hooked up to a laptop and the response time is out of this world when it is connected via HDMI.
The Pearl version is shipping out next month for ¥4899.00 and the Carta version ships out three months later and is retailing for ¥4999.00. Dasung has confirmed to Good e-Reader that they are starting an Indiegogo campaign to make it easier for people living in western Europe and North American to purchase both models.
