The Kobo Forma 8GB model originally launched for $299 USD and Kobo has discounted this model to $249. Walmart has also discounted the Forma and you can pick it up for $263.00. There is no word yet if this is a limited time deal or if this is the all new price.
It looks like Kobo is trying to go head to head with the Amazon Kindle line of e-readers. The Forma 8GB is now the same price as the Oasis and the upcoming Libra H20 is going to go on sale for $169 USD, while the latest generation Paperwhite retails for $129 for the 8GB Special Offers version.
Sadly this deal for the Forma is just available at Walmart stores in the US and the Kobo US website, but not in any other countries.
