The Sony DPT-RP1 13.3 inch e-reader has been available to pre-order for the past few weeks and it started shipping out via Amazon on June 20th. It looks like Sony underestimated the demand for this new product and it is already sold out. I think this bodes well for Sony who has delivered a solid second generation device and it looks like professionals and students have embraced it in record numbers.
There are no Amazon product reviews yet, but there are over 154 questions on the product page and Sony is very quick to answer them all.
B&H is also reporting stock shortages and has not even begun to ship the Digital Paper yet, they are still taking pre-orders
