Onyx Boox is having a sale on the Good e-Reader Store. The first big deal is the Onyx Boox MAX 3, which is one of the only 13.3 digital note taking devices on the market. The list price is $859 and it is now on sale for $773. The Onyx Boox Note 2 is their second general e-note with a 10.3 inch screen, the normal price is $549 and is on sale for $522. The Nova 2 came out earlier this year and this device can read ebooks, and also take notes. This is the first time this product has ever been discounted! The list price is $339 and is on sale for $322.
I can’t remember when Onyx ran a sales promotion on all of their modern e-readers, the company rarely discounts anything. My impression is that they have a slew of new products that are going to come out in 4-5 months and have to drum up sales in order to pay for the manufacturing costs, which is normally half down and the remainder when the products are complete and ready to be shipped out. Known devices that will be available are the Onyx Boox Poke Color and the Onyx Boox Phone. Knowing Onyx, they tend to refresh their entire lineup once a year, so the MAX 4, or Max 3 Pro, and the Note 3 are not out of the question.
The Onyx Boox sale on Good e-Reader runs from June 3rd to June 21st.
