The Galaxy Tab party is on at full swing and the numbers keep growing with every month. So what had started in October last is now 2 million strong. And the good thing is, the milestone has been reached in just 3 months. What is even better is that the rates of consumption of the Samsung tablet has almost doubled as the company had earlier announced it has sold one million units of the 7 inch Android tablet only in December, or in about 2 months. So the next million units of the Galaxy Tab took just a month to be sold out.
However, while the numbers sure is commendable, it sorts of fizzles out in comparison to what Apple were able to achieve with the iPad in the same period. For the Cupertino based company had gone on to sell almost 7.33 million units of the iPad in the same time span.
Also, it would be interesting to see how things pan out in the coming days when competitions is expected to intensify even more what with HP, Motorola, RIM along with a few more also expected to join the tablet segment with suitable devices. Of course, not to be left out, there are the next gen versions of the iPad and the Galaxy Tab too waiting in the wings.

With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
