A tablet from Amazon has never been acknowledged by the multinational e-commerce company, though the device continues to hog the limelight. So while earlier we have seen the tablet being accorded proper names – Hollywood and Cyanote for the 10 and 7 inch tablet respectively, what has now emerged – if what Detwiler Fenton and his consumer research team is to be believed – the two tablets will come included with the Amazon’s Instant Video service. The best thing about this is that the service will be made available completely free of cost, something that its ‘Prime customers’ have already been enjoying.
Meanwhile, the Amazon tablets continue to be the target of rumors and leaks. Amazon maintaining a studied silence over the entire issue isn’t helping much either. Hence, we do not know for sure if the Cyanote tablet really will be getting the NVIDIA Tegra 2 CPU or whether its bigger cousin Hollywood will indeed be built around the new quad-core NVIDIA Kal-El processor.
We do hope Amazon steps in to clear the air soon enough.

With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
