Today Apple just dropped the ball on the Apple iPad 2! The big things we noticed with this new model is that it is super fast! Everything the iPad does feels like you hit the old PC turbo button. This model also is very thing, its about half the size of the original iPad, which makes it even lighter and easier to carry around with you.
The new Apple iPad 2 features a 1 GHZ Dual core A5 chip and has cameras on the front and rear! This means you can take advantage of Facetime to talk to people in real time. The new CPU for the iPad 2 has really doubled in speed over the iPad 1. Also one of the big factors is how graphcis have improved, although the iPad 2 uses the same resolution as the Ipad one, which is 1024×768 pixels. Also, you will get around 10 hours of battery life out of this model, much akin to the original. There will be 512 MB of RAM so your daily functions will be drastically increased. It will also ship in two different colors, in black and white! This is a great change because the iPad 1 only had 1 color, black.
One of the neat accesseries to come out of the Apple event today was the new Apple Digital AV Adapter which allows you to utilize a HDMI dongle, so you can hook it up to the TV and get 1080 P picture quality.
Also shipping with the iPad 2 is a new version of iOS, version 4.3, also you get a new version of Safari, Garageband and iMove! It seems like the iPAD 2 has really matured over the course of the year and this new model seems like the best version yet.
