The Asus Transformer now seems to have taken the back-seat while it is its Slider sibling also by the same name that is hogging the limelight now. However, while the Slider taking to the front seat is a nice and welcome change to the usual stories about the tablet’s launch getting pushed back again and again, what we are getting now is a confusing scenario as regards the tablet specs.
So while we knew so far there is going to be a 16 GB version as the base model, news from some quarters point out it might not be the case after all. For the 16 GB version of the tablet seems to have been scrapped altogether in favor of a model with 32 GB of on-board storage, the price for which is going to be €499. As for the 3G enabled Slider tablet, we will have to wait till 2012 for that to be a reality.
But then, if all of this seem quite straight forward, the official Asus site for Poland has revealed a 16 GB version for sale in that country at an unspecified time.

With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
