Asus may be faltering at the moment with the release of the Android ICS update for Transformer tablet though the good thing is, it has kept its word and has come up with the unlock tool for Transformer Prime Bootloader. This should come as a welcome relief to many out there who are looking to flash custom firmwares on their devices.
However, the tool will unlock the Bootloader of the Transformer Prime running on the latest Android 4.0 ICS, which means those who are yet running the stock Android Honeycomb will need to upgrade to Android ICS first for the tool to be effective.
More words of caution: the standard Asus warranty cover will be deemed null and void for those who opt to unlock their Transformer Prime devices. That’s not all for such Transformer Prime Devices will also stand to loose out on all future software updates.
However, those who feel they can live without these can head to the Asus support page to download the unlock tool.

With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
