Those who may have been holding on to their breaths for the ASUS Transformer Prime to hit streets in Canada can finally breathe easy. For the quad core tablet is all set to storm on to the Canadian landscape from December 22nd, which is just two days after the tablet breaks loose in the US which is slated to happen on Dec 19. Incidentally, the Best Buy Canada site had earlier mentioned the release date as the 5th of December, which if true would have meant the Canadian debut taking place much before than in the US.
However, before you fall off your chair with joy, here is a dampener — all units have already been sold out as is being indicated in the site. One would therefore have to wait till Monday and check the nearest Best Buy store to see if they have any number of units to spare. Meanwhile, initial reviews of the Tegra 3 tablet has been impressive which makes looking forward to the device really worthwhile.
