Coby is known for producing low cost Android tablets and they have been doing so for over a year now. Also, the company has kept a line of budget devices hitting the market by sticking to Android 2.2 Froyo while most other Tablet PC makers have been releasing tablets that come with dual core processors having high resolution displays and running on the Android 3.x Honeycomb OS. Coby too has shifted gears as the company is now going to launch some new models that would be running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Not a great improvement over Android Froyo but is a step forward nonetheless.
The new tablet Coby has launched come in screen size options of 7, 8 and 10 inch and are named MID7125, MID8125, or MID1125 respectively. Amazon currently is offering these tablets for sale at a price of $200, $230 and $300 respectively.
All of the tablets include a 1 GHz processor. Also, while not many other details are available though given the price it can be assumed that the 7 inch tablet would have an 800 x 480 pixel resistive touchscreen display and the 8 inch models have 800 x 600 pixels resistive touch displays. Its only the 10 inch MID1125 tablet that feature the more touch friendly capacitive touchscreen technology.
Among the other features the MID1125 comes bundled with include 802.11b/g Wi-Fi, 4 GB on internal memory, HDMI out port, a front facing VGA camera. The tablet weighs 1.5 pounds and sport dimensions of 10.6 x 4.5 x 0.6 inches.

With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
