It was just around the beginning of this month that we had come to know of Creative’s intentions to invade the tablet scene. Now we receive news of the company has already delivered their Ziio 7 inch tablet to the Federal Communications Commission for necessary trials, which is the clearest indication of the tablet making it to the US sometime soon.
As for the Ziio’s specifications, it’s a ZiiLABS HD application processor; it is an in house development that does duty on the other end of the 7 inch 480 X 800 resolution resistive touch screen display. Internal storage options include 8 GB and 16 GB which can be enhanced up to 32 Gb by way of microSD cards.
Connectivity on the Ziio is through Wi-Fi and Bluetooth while the tablet also features a front facing VGA camera as well as a HDMI out slot.
As for its cost, the Ziio 7 inch tablet is likely to be around $315 to $350 for the 8 Gb and 16 GB versions respectively.
With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
