The usual leaks and rumors before a tablet (or for that matter any other product) is released is now streaming in with respect to the Rosemount tablet. An earlier leak of a Dell’s internal document had pointed out the Rosemount as a 10 inch tablet running Windows 7 with the 2nd quarter of this year as the probable launch period.
Now coming to the rumors centered around the tablet. Codenamed Rosemount, the tablet will be made part of the Dell Latitude series that services to the business community. So the Rosemount is going to be for the enterprise sector and is most likely to be based on the new Oak Trail CPU that Intel has developed specifically for tablet like devices promising better battery performance. There is no word though as to how much of a battery life the tablet will come with.
But then, the tablet will also have a user replaceable battery along with other features that can make the life of any entrepreneur easy. Like there will be software encryption along with the ability to perform a remote wipe. The Rosemount will also come with a dual digitizer that will let one to go for touch based input as well as stylus operation.
So while its just these that are available right now of the next Windows tablet from Dell, we must also not forget these are rumors. And rumors are never to be believed in entirety.

With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
