The Streak 7 tablet is now available in the UK for an affordable £299. The amount translates to about $488 US though the US price is expected to be even cheaper. However, those in the UK will only be getting the Wi-Fi only version of the tablet and perhaps it is this that explains the relatively decent price tag.
Price apart, the Streak 7 includes some nice specifications such as a 1 GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual core processor along with 16 GB of storage while on top if these is the 7 inch 800 x 480 pixel display which could have benefited with some more pixels. The tablet will also have on board a 1.3 megapixel fixed focus camera at the front and a 5 megapixel camera at the rear with auto focus and flash. Also for those who have been ruing the fact that the Streak 7 is still hooked on to Android 2.2 can find solace from the recent Dell announcement that has promised the upgrade to Android Honeycomb soon. Another not so likeable feature of the tablet is its pretty ordinary battery life of around 4 hours or so from its 2780 mAh battery.
In any case, the Streak 7 can still make for a strong case for itself at the price it is currently on offer.

With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
