The TouchPad and its immensely popular $99 price tag is still fresh in everyone’s mind, and here is another that may (or may not) be just as famous: the Dell Streak 7 that is currently available from UK retailer Currys for just £99.97. Dell has officially discontinued the 7 inch tablet, which never was a crowd favorite in spite of all that Dell could do, especially considering its low quality display. This in spite of the tablet being built around a dual core CPU and able to boast of a breezy performance. Dell had also made available an update to Android Honeycomb, though the version Currys has put up for sale runs Android Froyo.

The Streak 7 has never sold in respectable numbers and it will be interesting to see how the consumers react to this tablet when it is so cheap.

With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
