Just how cheap can an Android ICS tablet be? Ematic has just upped the ante with a device costing $119.95. Of course, at that price, one can’t expect the highest quality, though specs with the eGlide Steal are decent. It houses a 1 Ghz processor (of unknown make), a 1 GB RAM, 4 GB of internal memory (and a microSD card slot for expansion), and a 7 inch capacitive touchscreen with no mention of resolution. At least the OS of the eGlide Slide is the latest Android 4.0 ICS, which manages to enhance its appeal.
While it would be silly to expect Apple-like quality in a device that’s a shade less than $120, a tablet at that price can make the cut if it can impress with its performance. Only then will we know if the tablet is really a steal, as its name would have us believe.
The tablet is already on sale from a number of retailers including Walmart and JR.com.

With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
