To begin with, the Stylistic Q550 is not one meant for retail use but will find wide applicability anywhere from hospitals, industries to the office. The tablet also comes with features that is not seen in tablet PC too often. For instance, the Stylistic Q550 slate PC includes a fingerprint sensor, SmartCard reader, full disk encryption, along with an optional Trusted Platform Module as well. All these are in addition to the usual features found in many a table such as 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0 along with 3G and GPS as optional extras.
These apart, the 10.1 inch tablet with an IPS display and with wide viewing angles is based on the new generation Intel Atom Oak Trail processor with 32 bit Windows 7 Professional being the default operating system.
