Remember Fusion Garage? Or the tablet named JooJoo? No problem if you don’t, since neither of these did anything memorable. As a refresher, Fusion Garage is the name of the company that came up with the JooJoo tablet PC, with a massive 12 inch display. Their technology always makes appearances at tech trade shows, most recently with the Meego based OS at Computex. However, the software was buggy, the hardware left a lot to be desired, while the insane pricing saved many from having to deal with the JooJoo.
The tablet had gone on sale a few weeks ahead of the original iPad and had started out with the promise of being miles ahead of the Apple tablet, a claim almost all companies tried to proclaim. Remember the term “iPad killer? This was one of the first companies to employ that phrase, permiating throughout the industry.
It seems the second iteration of the JooJoo just passed with the premier American certification authority. However, as it usually is, FCC details are too ambiguous and the only thing that the FCC label ID might be indicating is a tablet-like device for the masses.
We will have to wait for more details to emerge of the JooJoo 2, though with the thing already past FCC the wait should not be a long one. So keep watching.

With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
