While the much awaited 7 inch Galaxy Pad from Samsung may have been unveiled amidst much fanfare at the IFA 2010 in Berlin, proceedings after the launch however did not go along expected lines and things have again gone back to speculations and rumors. While an official word would have done a world of good to clear things up, unfortunately its missing on some of the most crucial aspects of the tablet – its price and carrier details.
However, what’s evident is that Samsung want’s to make its tablet to enjoy the largest market penetration and for that, it will be coming to three of the top US telecom carriers – Sprint, AT&T and Verizon. And while we did get confirmation of the AT&T having bagged the deal, what we now know is that Verizon too is more or less confirmed to be carrying the Galaxy Pad. The upcoming mega event at New York scheduled to be held tomorrow will for sure shed some more light on the gray areas.
Keep watching to find out how things take shape.
With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
