The Taiwan based company Asus is likely to be the manufacturing partner, and Asus is keen to manufacture the 7 inch tablet to gain experience with Google software. The tablet will likely be positioned as a competitor against the Amazon Kindle Fire, with a price tag of around $199 to $249.
