LG has matched its domestic competitor Samsung’s move of launching a teaser video of its upcoming 8.9 inch tablet with a video depicting its own G-Slate tablet. However, here is a twist in that the latest G-Slate video has not been released by LG itself nor is it a commercial promoting the G-Slate. The story goes like this. A model referred to as the ‘theofficialLGgirl’ was selected to create a commercial of the G-Slate on T-Mobile. She was given her own G-Slate tablet after the shoot. She then shot a video of her experience with the G-Slate which is what has been included here.
However, while the video might not the considered a complete coverage of the G-Slate, what the video does and does it remarkably well is that it provides some much needed insight of the first LG tablet. Running Android 3.0 Honeycomb and based on a dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, the G-Slate can never be considered a push-over, more so since it’s the first tablet that comes with 3D capabilities. The G-Slate can capture 3D content via its rear facing stereoscopic cameras and can also display the same on its 8.9 inch display. However, special glasses will be required to experience 3D content though users also have the option to output it on a 3D enabled screen via its HDMI port.
There is no official word though as to when we can expect the G-Slate to hit the streets and so on. But it seems the wait won’t be long now that LG is up to preparing the G-Slate commercial.

With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
