At the CES show in Vegas HP did not show off any of their tablets they had in development, much to the chargin of people hoping for a sneak peak. HP’s Vice President Todd Bradley proclaimed that the HP Slate running WebOS will be debuted on February 9th 2011 at an exclusive HP event.
HP has said that the tablet will be one part of their ecosystem they are trying to promote, more then likely he was eluding to the Zeus Printer project that allows wireless printing from tablet computers. Although specs at this point are vague regarding the semantics of the tablet, in terms of hardware. Suffice to say, we are all very excited about an end consumer device that should see more marketing then the Slate 500 did.
