Its good to see rumors slowly giving way to more concrete stuff. When the world’s first WebOS based tablet was launched, the only time window HP could come up with regard to the tablet’s commercial release was this summer. This time, its more definitive that has emerged on this front as the TouchPad is all set to be seen on store shelves from this April. Towards this, the retailers will start receiving the TouchPad from end March itself. If this turns out to be true, then it will confirm what HP has said it wishes to achieve – to have a product delivered within a few weeks of first announcing it. HP eventually plans to sell as many as 4 to 5 million units of the TouchPad in 2011. However, a lot will depend how the TouchPad is priced in the market. Surely its an affordably priced tablet that will have the maximum impact and let’s hope HP is all too well aware of the fact.

With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
