That is a hefty sum, but it’s for the unlocked and SIM free version of the Flyer. This means there will be various carriers who will be offering the Flyer soon at subsidized rates subject for agreeing to various carrier plans. Also, while the Flyer is expected to be in stock with retailers, they won’t be able to start shipping until May 2011.

Instead, the Flyer will be running Android Gingerbread, though the company has stated they are already working on an update that will make the Flyer honey sweet. The HTC Flyer’s Gingerbread will also have a layer of HTC’s latest Sense UI software built on top to enhance the tablet’s appeal and usability.
These apart, the HTC Flyer will be the first device from HTC to come loaded with HTC Watch, the company’s new media streaming app. As for the tablet’s specs, it is made up of a 1.5 GHz single core processor, 1 GB RAM along with 32 GB of internal storage. The Flyer also boasts of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G and GPS, a 4000 mAh battery, a 5 megapixel camera at the rear, and a 1.3 megapixel webcam built into the front of the device.

With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
