The Ideos brand is already known to Kenyans, though Ideos has been restricted to the smartphone genre until now. The Chinese company just launched its Ideos S7 tablet in partnership with the Kenyan telecommunication company Safaricom. The 7 inch tablet has been priced at Ksh 34, 999, which comes out to US $432.
“Delivering connectivity for users thorough smart devices is one of our core objectives for 2011,” said Herman He, CEO Huawei Kenya. “The S7 Tablet is designed to do exactly that; provide smart and efficient connectivity to deliver a simple and premium end user experience.”
The Ideos S7 tablet is a follow up to the Ideos smartphone that Huawei launched in Kenya last December, and would provide users a smart mobile computing option. The S7 tablet packs in a 7 inch capacitive display and is both 3G and Wi-Fi compliant.

With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
