The Inventec the company whom manufactures the Nook Color for Book store giant Barnes and Noble has divulged that they plan on shipping an additional one million Nook Color Android e-Readers by the year of the end.
The extra devices are to help with the lack of Nook Colors leading up to the critical Q4 Holiday Season. Many Barnes and Noble locations are almost sold out of their first foray into the color e-reader market.
In other Inventec news, industry sources are claiming that the company is intending on landing a 7 million unit production contract for HP’s new WebOS tablet PC sometime in 2011.

Inventec currently are moving full stream ahead into the tablet computing world, as many of their clients are leaping into the market.
