We have had a lot of iPad 3 rumors till now, which makes us feel perhaps it’s time the real thing makes its appearance in the world scene. Well with that being the situation, we might in fact be blessed to have the next gen iPad with us soon enough. As soon as the 24th of February 2012.
Now what makes the date special? Its none other than Steve Job’s birthday and what better way to pay tribute to the iconic personality than to launch the new iPad – which incidentally has been just one of his many ‘world changing’ ideas — on his birthday.
However, before you start jumping with joy, let’s not forget this piece of news — no matter how sweet it might sound to the ear — is anything but a rumor unless either Apple or its Taiwan based manufacturing partners lend some weight to it.
All of it stems from recent reports in Chinese media claiming workers engaged in component supply or its assemblage at Foxconn will have lesser day offs during the Chinese Lunar New Year Holiday period, a time when the workers are given days’ holiday to be with their family and celebrate the new year.
However, while all of the above still lies on slippery tracts of rumors and speculations, the coming of the new gen iPad is always good news and the earlier it comes will always be better.
