While its almost certain the next generation iPad will come equipped with a camera built into it, the focus has now shifted to the finer nitty gritties of the thing. And what has emerged is that the iPad2 is very much likely to come with just the basic stuff here that will be devoid of any high tech gadgetry. So what the latest SDK has revealed is that the next generation iPad will feature just a 1 megapixel unit at the rear. The camera will also let you capture 720p videos as well though it may not be the best in class.
Moving over to the front of the iPad and things does not look any much more brighter as its only a VGA camera that adorns the front of the iPad, which is where the iPad shares a similarity with the latest iPhone 4.
