The Kineo Android tablets has now finally started to ship. Targeted primarily at the young mind, the tablet is now on way to some select states in the US, such as Texas, California, and Tennessee among a few others. Also, with school age kids as the primary clientele, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that the tablet comes with some built-in restrictions and is a lot different from being a full blown tablet designed to impress with its speed and performance.
The tablet has a 800 MHz dual core processor and a 7 inch 800 x 480 pixel display. It has got 256 MB of RAM while on board storage is 2 GB. Android 2.1 Eclair is the operating system, which though has been thoroughly altered to suit the target environment where the tablet would find applicability. Also, while the Kineo is compliant with Adobe Flash, the tablet will still be able to run only education oriented apps and the internet experience will also be similarly restricted to only approved sites. Also, the tablet has also be suitably structurally reinforced to ensure greater survivability in the hands of its young consumers.
With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
