We already know Motorola has a few more tablet devices up its sleeve and now there is speculation regarding one of them, seemingly called Kore. The story behind it is that Motorola has snapped up 5 domains with all have them having the term ‘Kore’ in their names. The domains are MotorolaKore.com, KoreMotorola.com, Moto-kore.com, MotoKore.com, and Motorola-Kore.com, and all of them have been registered this last Wednesday. It was earlier believed the new tablet would be called XOOM 2, though that might not be the case considering XOOM never could make it big and the new tablet might be perceived as an extension of it. Instead, Kore does make for an edgy name.
However, rumor mills didn’t just stop at that as there is further speculation of the new Motorola tablet to be based on NVIDIA’s new quad core Tegra 3 processors with Android Ice Cream as the operating system. The XOOM has been the launching platform of Android Honeycomb and if that is the case with the new Kore with Ice Cream, let’s hope things work out well the this time. Also, the new Kore is likely to match if not better the Retina Eye sort of resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels, while Motorola is also unlikely to ignore on the ‘thin’ quality of tablets that has become an important USP after the iPad 2 and Galaxy Tab 10.1 came on the scene.
Anyway, let’s not forget these are all speculations, though there sure will be a lot of leaks and rumors before the final product hits streets later in the year or early 2012.

With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
