Motorola’s XOOM tablet device was the launchpad for Android Honeycomb, and now that we are on the verge of Google releasing the latest version of Android, rumor mills are back to proclaim the XOOM might have the privilege to be the first tablet device with Ice Cream Sandwich. The ongoing efforts on part of Google to secure Motorola Mobility imply Google is favoring Motorola.
Of course there are a lot of other tablet makers out there waiting to upgrade their tablet PC to Android Ice Cream. Significant amongst these include the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, Asus Transformer, or Sony with its Tablet S. However, who gets it is what matters and that’s still the topic of a great debate as of now.
Motorola has lined up an event tomorrow, and apart from Motorola Droid RAZR getting launched, the other big surprise could be the launch of XOOM 2.
So let’s keep our fingers crossed for tomorrow!

With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
