Motorola XOOM – the first tablet to come loaded with Android 3.0 Honeycomb seems to have scored another first. For no sooner did Google unveil the Android 3.1, Motorola is already rolling out the latest Android 3.1 update for the XOOM. The effects too is turning out to be hugely positive as of now since the updated XOOMs is reported to have gone a notch higher in terms of performance and responsiveness. So while the user interface seems to have better response times post the update, the over-all performance of the tablet itself is now better, something that can be attributed to the updated Honeycomb’s support for hardware graphics acceleration.
The web browser too is now faster than before, with much more smoother zooming abilities. Another nice aspect with Android 3.1 is the inclusion of the ‘Check Now’ feature under the system updates menu that will allow users to keep tab of future updates when they become available.

With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
