Netflix confirmed today on their companies Twitter account that they will not make an exclusive version of their video streaming service for the Blackberry Playbook or any phone. RIM has been trying to woo the company for sometime and it looks tremendously unlikely they will ever support QNX or Blackberry 10 operating systems.
Obviously the one thing the Playbook lacks is a solid video streaming service available in their App World for customers to view videos on demand. Notoriously absent from the party is not only Netflix but also Hulu. Attempts have been made to convert the Netflix Android application over to the Playbook with the new Android emulator but currently it is not possible.
